Welcome

Welcome to the Delta Nu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Southeast Missouri State University!

On May 15, 1851, Alpha Delta Pi was founded as the first secret society for women at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. We are proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood.

Southeast Missouri State University’s Delta Nu chapter was founded on May 16, 1959. We celebrate 65 years of sisterhood in 2024. Delta Nu has been recognized three times by our Executive Office with the coveted Golden Lion.

Alpha Delta Pi is committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility. As one of seven sororities on Semo’s campus, we are proud to be a part of one of the nation’s most active Greek communities, and we hope our website will serve as a way to peek into what it means to be an Alpha Delta Pi at Semo.

Hello everyone! My name is Abby Brey and I have the privilege of serving as President of the Delta Nu Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi throughout 2024.

As president, I oversee chapter administration and operations. I also act as the representative for Delta Nu through SEMO, our Executive Office, and Panhellenic Council.

I decided to join Greek Life to find the people I truly connected with. Coming to college can be scary so finding a group of girls who feel like home makes the process so much easier. Being a part of ADPi, I have met the most genuine girls who make college so much more fun! I also have had the opportunity to raise money for philanthropy as well as hold leadership positions through ADPi. I have also been able to serve through two executive board positions over the past two years which has been such a rewarding experience. Being a part of Greek life also helped me connect with other girls in my major which is so helpful! One of my favorite memories through ADPi was going to Orlando for a training conference with our executive board! We had a blast learning how to better our chapter and getting to travel while doing it!

Through ADPi I have genuinely found the people who are not only my best friends, but the people who push me to be my best self. I am so proud to represent this amazing group of women. On behalf of the whole chapter we cannot wait to meet all the new girls going through recruitment this spring and fall! My biggest piece of advice would be to be yourself and look for the group of girls who make you feel a true sense of belonging and support!

My best,

Abby Brey, Delta Nu Chapter President
