Founded on May 15, 1851, Alpha Delta Pi is the oldest secret society for college women in the world. This female organization was first established at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and has since expanded to 161 active chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
One of the many things that connects these chapters are the symbols shown above. All over the country members represent and support these symbols that make us who we are. Each emblem is unique and special to Alpha Delta Pi, as they stand for the values and purpose of our chapter.
The Delta Nu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was chartered May 16, 1959 at Southeast Missouri State University founded on the principles of sisterhood, knowledge, service, and character.
