ADPi Values

The Four Points of Alpha Delta Pi <>. Since the founding of The Adelphean Society, our organization has operated with a set of values to motivate our members and guide our and actions. After conversations with members, it was clear Alpha Delta Pi needed to refine and refresh our four points of the diamond badge to better communicate and define our organizational values.

Over the course of several strategy sessions and values workshops, Grand Council discussed what matters most to our members—past, present, and future. They found that much of what guided us throughout our history still guides us today. When we put these four core values of Alpha Delta Pi together, we have the four points of our diamond badge: Sisterhood, Service, Character, and Knowledge.

Strength in Sisterhood – Our sisterhood is strongest when we cultivate a sense of belonging, loyalty, and connection in all members.

Service to Others – We encourage our members to exhibit generosity and offer support to our communities.

Steadfast Character – We will lead with integrity and authenticity in all we do.

Seeking Knowledge – Our members are committed to lifelong learning and developing personal growth.

We recognize these values in each and every one of our sisters, chapters, alumnae associations, and house corporations. And we hope the actions of our members—both collegiate and alumnae—always reflect Sisterhood, Service, Character, and Knowledge as the foundation of our aim to #BeTheFirst.

Sisterhood

“We Live For Each Other”

The women of the Delta Nu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi truly have formed a strong and lasting sisterhood. Every ADPi sister knows the importance of bonding and supporting one another. We give advice, push each other through workouts, study together for exams, or catch the latest episodes of our favorite TV shows together. Whether we are making small memories or celebrating major milestones in each others lives, our ADPi sisterhood is a friendship that will last beyond the four years of college.

Service

Alpha Delta Pi loves the Ronald McDonald House. Alpha Delta Pi adopted Ronald McDonald House Charities as our international philanthropy in 1979. There are 309 Ronald McDonald Houses around the world. We are fortunate to have a Ronald McDonald Family Room at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Knowledge

We value high academic achievement. Our Alpha Delta Pi chapter consistently has one of the highest grade point averages on Semo’s campus. We encourage scholarly achievements and create an environment for success in the classroom.

Character

Alpha Delta Pi provides a unique environment for sisters to constantly grow and develop into strong and successful women. Our sisters are all dedicated, motivated, and well rounded individuals who recognize the importance of acting with honesty and integrity wherever they may be.
