WELCOME

Welcome to the Delta Nu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Southeast Missouri State University! Alpha Delta Pi is one of seven sororities at SEMO. On May 15, 1851, Alpha Delta Pi was founded as the first secret society for women at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Southeast Missouri State University’s Delta Nu chapter was founded in 1959. Alpha Delta Pi is committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility. We are proud to be a part of one of the nation’s most active Greek communities, and we hope our website will serve as a way to peek into what it means to be an Alpha Delta Pi.

SEMO Class of 2025, sign up for recruitment here!

Hi! I’m Kylie Noe and I have the privilege of serving as President of the Delta Nu chapter at Southeast Missouri State University.

As president, I oversee the operations of the chapter. I act as the representative for Delta Nu on our campus, with our Executive Office, and Panhellenic Council.

I was born and raised in Sikeston, Missouri. In high school, I was involved with everything I could be. I did everything from serving as team captain for the soccer and softball team, to serving as Student Body President my senior year. Coming into college, I knew I wanted to be involved, but I did not think joining a sorority was right for me. I have family members who were Greek, and I saw how they benefited from their chapters. Still, I was hesitant. I did not think I was a “typical so sorority girl”. I thought I could get the same experience and connections through other organizations on campus. I ended up signing up for recruitment because I had a “what if” feeling. “What if” I join a sorority and it becomes one of the best decisions I could make? I went through recruitment with an open mind, just to see what would happen. It never hurts to try! In the end, I joined Alpha Delta Pi because I felt as though this was the place I could grow the most personally and professionally. I had seen the impact it had on the girls in the chapter.

Now going into my senior year, I could not imagine being a part of any other chapter. If you would have told me three years ago I would be President, I would have thought you were crazy. In my three years here, Alpha Delta Pi has given me the best people I know. My best friends, future bridesmaids, and endless connections. I have met the people who I have shared some of my best, and worst, memories with. I have met the people who encourage me to be the best that I can be and push me out of my comfort zone. I have met people who now act as strong connections in the professional world, and I have met people who inspire me to never settle.

Throughout my undergraduate experience, Alpha Delta Pi has truly shown me what it means to live for each other. I am apart of an organization that is much bigger than myself, and continues to give back to its members even after college. On behalf of our chapter, we can not wait to welcome home a new class into our sisterhood this fall. When you choose Alpha Delta Pi, know that you are choosing more than a few years of college with friends, you are choosing a sisterhood that will last a lifetime. We are so excited to meet you all.

Loyally,

Kylie Noe, Delta Nu President
